Leggera History
During the 1950's, prestige Italian automobile designers knew that to make cars faster they had to make them lighter and stronger.
Hand-formed lightweight aluminium body panels fixed over a thin steel tube frame were developed for Ferrari, Maserati, Aston Martin and Alpha Romeo, giving birth to the famous Leggera [Le-jeer-a] super-fast racing saloons.
Today, Leggera engineers recognise the same principles - designing a range of superlight, superstrong racing cycles with maximum use of carbon fibre components.
Combining the very latest carbon fibre technology with decades of Italian cycling design and development has resulted in the 2007 ranges of outstanding Leggera racing cycles.
The Leggera legend is once again dominating the race circuits of the world.
